Embracing the art of the movement

Get to know us

Erind  is the artistic director of Dance and Flow. He began dancing ballet and modern and playing classical guitar in 1996, and from that moment, music and dance have always been his life passion.

In 2000, he encountered Caribbean dances in Italy. While continuing ballet and modern, he also began an intensive formation in various salsa styles: Son, Cuban Salsa, L.A. Style, On2 Puerto Rican Style, and N.Y. Style.
After six years of intense studying, he decided to share his passion and knowledge by teaching. In 2006, he took a further step and founded Dance and Flow.

That same year, he began studying Flamenco guitar and dance, following Jose Greco II and Torombo’s technique, and mastering palos and bailes such as Farruca, Alegrías, Bulerías, Soleá por Bulerías, Tangos, etc.
This rich path allowed him to feel the power and energy of an explosive yet profound culture.

He lived in the U.S. for a year and a half, where he had the opportunity to deepen his practice of NY Style and study with prestigious dance schools and teachers such as Eddie Torres, Thomas Guerrero, Franklin Diaz, Frankie Martinez, and others.

In 2009, he embraced a new challenge with the beautiful Afro-Cuban culture. Coming from a classical background, he developed a strong passion for Cuban Contemporary, an incredible mix of Ballet, Modern, and Caribbean/African traditions based on contraction and release techniques combined with spine undulation movements, following Luis Roblejo’s technique.
His interest in Afro-Cuban culture led him to study in depth the religions Yoruba, Mayombé, Abakuá, Arará, and the execution of their respective gods.

Taking as reference teachers such as Alfredo Ofaril, Juan Theodoro, Leydis Theodoro Delis, Yorgenis Danger, Esmil Diaz, Wilmer y Maria, Alberto Valdez, and others, he continues to study and teach in order to master these techniques as much as possible.

He has taught and performed in numerous countries including Italy, U.S., UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Australia, and many more, participating in dance congresses all over the world.
